NEIL ETHERIDGE

Home (10-Nov-2018) versus Brighton & Hove Albion

First Match Worn added to my collectiont this year. Etheridge growing into a reliable keeper for Cardiff with many fans initially worried about the number 1 spot after losing David Marshall to Hull City. Etheridge was between the posts for this much neeeded win that included an injury time winner from big Sol Bmaba

VICTOR CAMARASA

Away (24-Nov-2018) versus Everton

Stunning Match Worn Away shirt of Spaniard Victor Camarasa. In a team of real hard workers the loanee from Real Betis is really showing is class an ability in the Premiership. Shirt was obtained via a reliable source and was worn in the 1-0 loss away at Everton

ARON GUNNARSSON

3rd Shirt (03-Apr-2019) Versus Manchester City

Match Worn Shirt of Cardiff favourite and Iceland captain Aron Gunnarsson. Match was worn in the 2-0 defeat to Premier League Champions Manchester City. Cardiff lost the game 2-0 which came as a bit of a relief after getting beaten 5-0 at home earlier in the season.

JUNIOR HOILETT

Away (15-Sep-2018) Versus Chelsea

Match Worn Shirt of Canadian International Junior Hoilett. Match Match ended in a 4-1 defeat but Cardiff surprisingly took an early 1 nil lead. The away shirt from this season is increasngly hard to obtain and I am happy to also have a pair of Junior's White away shorts in my collection also.

JUNIOR HOILETT

Home (30-Nov-2018) versus Woverhampton Wanderers

Stunning Match Worn Home shirt of Canadian Internation Junior Hoilett. This is a great addition to this seasons collection as it's the shirt that was worn by Junior Hoilett when he scored a real world class strike from the edge of the box that went into top corner of the net. This goal proved to be the match winner as Cardiff won the game 2-1.

JOE BENNETT

Away (02-Mar-2019) versus Woverhampton Wanderers

Match Worn shirt of Left Back Joe Bennett. Bennett was a regular starter for Cardiff during the premiership campaign even though Irish Internation left back Greg Cunningham was bought for £4 million to challenge for the position. Bennett was a consistent player who did not look out of place playing in the premiership. Shirt was worn in the 2 nil loss at the Molineux which saw Bamba going off injured which was a pivotal moment in our premiship survival.

BRUNO ECUELE MANGA

(UNKNOWN) versus Woverhampton Wanderers

Match worn Shirt of Cardiff Defender Bruno Ecuele Manga. Although in my opinion Managa was one of our true Premiership quality players he had a better second half of the season as Warnock played him in his true position at Centre Back. Shirt was sourced through a reliable contact at Wolves and is Match Worn but is not known if this was worn at the Home or Away fixture.

JOSH MURPHY

Home (09-Mar-2019) versus West Ham United

Match Worn shirt of winger Josh Murphy. Murphy had a mixed season where sometimes he would outrun and outplay the opposition but frustratingly in the next game would be non existent. Shirt contains Cardiff in the Community logo and was sold via online auction with all money getting donated to the Cardiff run charity.

ALEX SMITHIES

Away (09-Mar-2019) versus West Ham United

Player issue shirt of 2nd choice Goalkeeper Alex Smithies. Smithies was bought to compete with Etheridge for the number 1 spot. Smithies was also expected to step in when Etheridge played in the Asian Cup. Due to Etheridge deciding to concentrate on playing premiership games and his outstanding displays through, Smithies never got to play a Premiership league game.

KADEEM HARRIS

Home (28-Aug-2018) versus Norwich City

Rare Match Worn shirt of Cardiff winger Kadeem Harris. This is the first time City have used different patches for the League Cup. Shirt particulary rare due to Cardiff having a terrible game and losing 1-3. So the only time shirts with these patches were used in the season.

NEIL ETHERIDGE

Goalkeeper (Player Issue)

Player issue shirt from Philiipines International Neil Etheride. No details on this shirt but contains the correct lettering and patches. Etheridge was one of Cardiff's many high points during the 2018/19 Premiership campaign so a great shirt to add to my collection.

KENNETH ZOHORE

Away (09-Feb-2019) versus Southampton

"I'M BACK" The words shouted from striker Kenneth Zohore after scoring an injury time winner away at Southampton in one of the most dramatic games of the season. The match was already emotional with all players wearing an embroided daffodil on their shirts in memory of striker Emilian Sala who lost is life in a plane crash when travelling from Nantes to Cardiff. Shirt was obtained via an auction where all proceeds went to the charity that helped to locate the missing airplane over the English Channel.

ALEX SMITHIES

Away (09-Feb-2019) versus Southampton

"Player Issue shirt of substitute goalkeeper Alex Smithies. The match was an emotional with all players wearing an embroided daffodil on their shirts in memory of striker Emilian Sala who lost is life in a plane crash when travelling from Nantes to Cardiff. Shirt was obtained via an auction where all proceeds went to the charity that helped to locate the missing airplane over the English Channel.

NEIL ETHERIDGE

Goalkeeper (Player Issue)

Player issue shirt of Goalkeep Neil Etheridge. No match details on this shirt but shows all the correct letterings and prints of a genuine player issue shirt.

LEE PELTIER

Home (10-Nov-2018) versus Brighton & Hove Albion

Player issue shirt from the tough tackling Right Back Lee Peltier. An official poppy shirt that came from Cardiff City and the Royal British Legion. Notice that the shirt does not contain the premiership arm patch. If only Peltier had played a part in the game and the shirt would have become a rare and unique find.

NEIL ETHERIDGE

Home (Player Issue)

Player issue shirt of first choice goalkeeper Neil Etheridge. No match details on this shirt but my personal favourite of the season but only used on 3 or 4 occasions at most.

SEAN MORRISON

Away (05-Jan-2019) (F.A. Cup) versus Gillingham

Match Worn & squad signed shirt of Club Captain Sean Morrison. Shirt was worn in the away game versus Gillingam in the 3rd round of the FA Cup with it's right arm having the official FA Cup sleeve. Cardiff lost the game 1 Nil proving once again that Cup matches are the lowest prioroty for manager Neil Warnock.

ALEX SMITHIES

Home (28-Aug-2018) versus Norwich City

Not sure if this is the match worn or spare of Goalkeeper Alex Smithies from the Caraboa Cup home game against Norwich City. Under Neil Warnock Cardiff do not appear to have taken Cup competitions seriously. This game was no different with the Bluebirds suffering a 3-1 home loss with a crowd of under 7000 watching.
