WILFRIED ZAHA
Away (Player Issue)
Player Issue shirt of young winger Wilfired Zaha. Zaha was bought by Manchester United after
showing great performances for Crystal Palace. Unfortunately he did not fulfil his potentia at Manchester so was giving
a loan chance at Cardiff City - I think it was fair to say that he did not live up to his potential at the Cardiff City
Stadium either.
CRAIG NOONE
Away
(24-September-2013) versus West Ham United (Carling Cup)
Match
Worn shirt of Craig Noone from our Carling cup game again West Ham United.
Unfortunately it was another loss for Cardiff City but Craig put in a splendid
display which included a fantastic goal.
NICKY MAYNARD
Away
(24-Septmber-2013) versus West Ham United (Carling Cup)
Match Worn shirt of striker Nicky Maynard. Maynard has
unfortunately failed to settle into the first team squad after recovering from a
nasty knee injury early on on the 2012/13 Season.
JOE MASON
Home
(Player Issue) Player issue shirt of Joe Mason.
Shirt came from a kit man exchange with the Manchester City Kit man during the
opening home game of the premiership season.
ANDREW TAYLOR
Away
(9-November-2013) versus Aston Villa
Match Worn shirt of Left Back Andrew Taylor.
A Special shirt due to it carrying the poppy logo. All shirts worn during
the game
were
auctioned to raise funds for the Royal British Legion 2013 Poppy Appeal.
Cardiff went on to lose the game 2 nil.
DAVID MARSHALL
Away
(11-January-2014) versus
Manchester City
Match Worn shirt of goalkeeper David Marshall. Shirt
worn against Premiership giants Manchester City. Even though Marshall
conceded 4 goals during the game he yet again proved that he could possibly be
goalkeeper of the year for 2013/14 with many amazing saves throughout this game
and previous games throughout the season.
DAVID MARSHALL
Away
(27-April-2014) versus
sunderland
Match Worn shirt of Scotland International goalkeeper David Marshall.
Shirt was worn in a 4-0 defeat to Sunderland at the Stadium Of Light. This defeat more of less cemented Cardiffs relegation from the
premiership after just one season. One highlight of the season was the consistent performances of Marshall. How he was
never named in the premiership 11 for the season I really do not know.
GARY MEDEL
Away
(01-January-2014) versus
Arsenal
Match Worn shirt of Chile International Gary Medel.
Shirt was worn against Premiership giants Arsenal in a 0 -2 defeat. Medel
was an instant hero with the Cardiff faithful and proved to the world how good
he was on the international stage at the 2014 world cup. After relegation
Medel secured a transfer to Italian giants Inter Milan.
PETER WHITTINGHAM
Home
(30-November-2013) versus Arsenal
Match Worn shirt of long time servant of the club
Peter Whittingham. Shirt was worn against Premiership giants Arsenal at
home when Cardiff favourite Aaron Ramsey returned and was applauded by the home
fans after scoring a brace for Arsenal in a 3 - 0 defeat.
Juan Torres Ruiz (CALA)
Away
(27-April-2014) versus Sunderland
Match Worn shirt of defender Juan Cala. The game ended in a 4 nil defeat for Cardiff which
more or less sealed relegation for the Bluebirds. The game will be remembemberd for a controversial penalty decision that got
Cala sent off. Cala was later charged with misconduct after an incident in the tunnel. Personally I do not think we saw the best
of Cala. A typical Spanish player who struggled to play the correct way with poorer players around him but could have excelled with
the same quality playing beside him week in week out.
DAVID MARSHALL
Home
(11-May-2014) versus Chelsea
Match Worn shirt of Cardiff's Number 1 David Marshall. Shirt was worn in final home game
of the season against Chelsea. Chelsea went on to win the game 2-1. Shirt was obtained from Match sponsor of the game and was give
the shirt directly by David Marshall after the game.
DON COWIE
Away Player Issue
(17-Aug-2013) versus West Ham United
Player issue shirt of unused sub Don Cowie.
Shirt came from a very reliable source and was the shirt issued to Cowie for
Cardiff's first ever game in the Barclays Premiership.
FRAIZER CAMPBELL
Away
(04-January-2014) versus Newcastle united
Match Worn shirt of Striker Fraizer Campbell. This FA Cup game ended in a 2-1 win for Cardiff
City with Campbell scoring the winner in the 80th minute. This game was the first game for new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer made his name as a deadly substitute striker at Manchester United and he introduced Campbell in the second half to
earn Cardiff a place in the fourth round for the first time in four seasons.
Wanted
Orange Goalkeeper Shirt - Only worn once at the FA cup game against Newcastle
at St. James Park.
