JAY BOTHROYD

Home (1-Nov-2009) versus Nottingham Forest

Jay Bothroyd's match worn shirt from what is believed to be against Nottingham Forest.  Bothroyd had a man of the match performance and capped this off with a fantastic goal.  Bothroyd was later to became Cardiff City's first England International player whilst still serving for the club in their 111-year history

DAVID MARSHALL

Neutral (22-May-2010) versus Blackpool (Championship Play off Final)

David Marshall's spare shirt from the extremely disappointing Play Off final against Blackpool at Wembley.  Cardiff were clear favourites to win the game but were destined to lose within the first 10 minutes when top striker Jay Bothroyd limped off injured.

UNKNOWN

Home (11-Jul-2009) versus Chasetown

A truly historical shirt as this was used in the first ever game played at the newly built Cardiff City Stadium.  The shirt was used by an unknown player against Chasetown and possibly at Swindon Town in a pre season friendly.  This style of shirt was also used in a Cardiff City V Legends 11 at the Cardiff City Stadium.

KELVIN ETUHU

Home (24-Apr-10) versus Sheffield Wednesday

Kelvin Etuhu match worn and signed shirt.  Although not guaranteed I am told this is from the Sheffield Wednesday game in which Cardiff won 3 - 2

PAUL QUINN

Away (27-Mar-10) versus Crystal Palace

I am told that this is a match worn shirt of Paul Quinn from the 2 - 1 win at Selhurst Park.

DAVID MARSHALL

Away (UNKNOWN)

David Marshall signed shirt - Shows all the markings of an official player shirt

KELVIN ETUHU

Home (13-Sep-2009) versus Newcastle United

Extremely rare match worn shirt of Kevin Etuhu. Shirt was worn against Newcastle in a televised game. Shirts containing the 777Ball sponsor were only used during this one game as the sponsor was not recognised as having a licence to advertise in Europe and was subsequently dropped.

PETER ENCKELMAN

Unknown (Player Issue)

Quite possibly the rarest shirt in my collection.  From what I understand only a handful of pink goalkeeper shirts were produced for the season and they were only meant to be used as a 3rd choice clash kit.  Although during the season, the pink choice was the most regularly used shirt.  What makes this shirt even more rare is the 777Ball sponsor. This shirt was not worn during a competitive game because the 777Ball shirts were only used against Newcastle United at home, and the goalkeeper on that day was  David Marshall who wore a light blue shirt.

ROSS McCORMACK

Away (13-Feb-2010) versus Chelsea (FA CUP)

Official match worn away shirt of Ross McCormack from the 4 - 1 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.  Ross came on as a second half substitute.  Unfortunately the game will be remembered for the off the field activities after the game which resulted in many arrests and prison sentences.

WARREN FEENEY

Away (UKNOWN)

Warren Feeney match shirt.  I am not sure in which game this shirt was used in but came to me in a used condition with grass and mud stains clearly visible.

JOE LEDLEY

Away (23-Sep-2009) versus Aston Villa (league cup)

An extremely rare Match Worn Shirt of Cardiff born and bred player Joe Ledley.  In a season in which we had 2 shirt sponsors this is actually a rare find as it does not contain sponsorship details.  The shirt was worn in the 1 - 0 loss to Aston Villa in the league cup.  Shirt was obtained from a dealer after Ledley swapped his shirt with am Aston Villa player after the game.

MICHAEL CHOPRA

Home Player Issue

A relatively rare shirt from the season as Shirt does not contain any sponsorship details. Shirt was worn for just a few games during August of the 2009 season before a sponsorship deal was done with betting firm 777Ball. Shirt brings 2 memories to me - The non sponsored blue shirt was worn in the home win against Bristol City where Chopra scored and removed his boot with his "boot on fire" celebration. This was also the shirt worn when we saw a rare goal scored from Midfielder Gavin Rae.

MICHAEL CHOPRA

Wembley (Player Issue Spare) Play Off Final (22-May-2010)

Another great addition to my collection. Shirt was the spare of Striker Michael Chopra. Cardiff were favourites to win the game and gain promotion to the Premiership but unfortunately Cardiff's outcome was more or less decided when striker Jay Bothroyd had to leave the pitch early due to injury. Cardiff players including a well used picture of Chopra were visibly upset and crying at the final whistle after a 3-2 defeat.

ADAM WILDIG

Home Player Issue

An extremely rare player issue shirt of Adam Wildig. This style of shirt was only worn once during the season and this was a game that Wildig was not involved in.

MIGUEL COMMINGES

Home Player Issue

An extremely rare player issue shirt of Miguel Comminges. This style of shirt was only worn once during the season and this was a game that Wildig was not involved in.
