CHRIS BURKE Home (4-Jan-2011) versus Leeds United Genuine Chris Burke Match Worn shirt given to me directly after the game by Chris himself. Cardiff always seem to have the edge over Leeds and this game was no different with a 2 - 1 win at the Cardiff City Stadium. Shirt is unwashed and clearly shows markings from the game with vasseline plastered all over the chest
PETER WHITTINGHAM Away (7-May-2011) versus Burnley Shirt was obtained via a Cardiff City player at the game and given to me a few weeks later. Shirt was given to me as match worn but all the pictures I have seen show Whittingham wearing a long sleeve shirt. Shirt does show sign of wear. The match finished as a 1 - 1 draw with Craig Bellamy scoring a late equaliser.
MARK HUDSON Home (7-November-2010) versus Swansea City Mark Hudson Match worn shirt from the eagerly anticipated South Wales Derby. The game was chosen for sky TV and match shirts from both teams were donated to the Royal British Legion. Unfortunately for Cardiff it was a game to forget with the local rivals totally outplaying us and comfortably winning 1 - 0.
CRAIG BELLAMY Away (28-Aug-2010) versus PortsmouthEven though this shirt was the official away shirt of the 9/10 season it was actually worn on 2 occasions during the 10/11 campaign. Shirt was used a 3rd shirt when playing against teams wearing dark blue and therefore clashing, I am told the shirt is the actual shirt worn by Craig Bellamy during the away game at Fratton Park.
JAY EMANUEL THOMAS Away (7-May-2011) versus Burnley Shirt was obtained via a lucky fan at the game when the players threw their shirts into the crowd. The match finished as a 1 - 1 draw with Craig Bellamy scoring a late equaliser. Jay Emanuel was one of the most frustrating players that season with the ability of showing fantastic skill and pace one minute and a few minutes later showing the least bit of interest in the game.
DEKEL KEINAN Home (13-March-2011) versus Barnsley Match Worn Shirt of Israeli central Defender Dekel Keinan. Shirt was obtained via official auction with money being raised for the great charity of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Cardiff drew the game 2-2 with Keinan scoring his first goal in English football for Cardiff City.
JASON BROWN Various (Player Issue) Player Issue shirt of Goalkeeper Jason Brown. Brown was brought to Cardiff on emergency loan after injuries to David Marshall and Tom Heaton . Cardiff also brough in Bywater who eventually took place between the posts meaning that Brown never actually go to play for Cardiff City during his spell.
JASON BROWN Various (Player Issue) Player Issue shirt of Goalkeeper Jason Brown. Brown was brought to Cardiff on emergency loan after injuries to David Marshall and Tom Heaton . AARON RAMSEY Home (Player Issue) So much I can say about this player - For me personally, even though he only played a small number of times for Cardiff City he's the best player I have seen in a city shirt. Could get into space without breaking sweat and the ability to make a pin point pass with either foot. No match details on the shirt but special as Ramsey always wore long sleeve and came straigh from an employee of Cardiff City Backroom staff who was given this personally by Ramsey.
LEE NAYLOR 3rd Shirt (24-August-2010) versus Peterborough Match Worn shirt of Left Back Lee Naylor. A great addition to my collection as this is a shirt from the previous season that was worn on 3 occasions during 2010/11 as a 3rd shirt clash. Shirt was obtained from an ex employee of Peterborough United who was give the shirt by Lee after the game.
CRAIG BELLAMY Away (Player Issue) A fantastic shirt to my collection. Player issue as I have no match details about the shirt. A Bellamy shirt is a great addition as he was clearly a stand out loan signing for a Championship Team. A player who was more than capable of playing for a top premiership team but had fallen out with the manager at Manchester City and wanted to return to his hometown club to be closer to his family.
GABOR GYEPES Home (7-November-2010) versus Swansea City Gabor Gyepes Match worn shirt from the eagerly anticipated South Wales Derby. The game was chosen for sky TV and match shirts from both teams were donated to the Royal British Legion. Unfortunately for Cardiff it was a game to forget with the local rivals totally outplaying us and comfortably winning 1 - 0.
